Thread: starting php what do i need

okay im going to start trying to learn PHP and was wondeering what ill neeed

what i got
notepad++
Xampp or however you spell it Apache freinds anyway


what i need
resources - all i would ever need
names of good helpful sites
names of sites to look at sample code
and anything else that exerienced coders like blunks and cabry would think i will need btw i already know html and css this is my latest learning project

However, I would start with html before learning php.
