About LinkBacksyesterday and today, my warserver got hacked.. the rcon password and server password had changed.

Is it running any mods or just a plain game? Is PunkBuster enabled?
Is your ftp/ control panel password secure, guessable? How many people know the rcon password? Could it have been leaked?
it runs promodlive_202, and pb is enabled, Idk if the ftp password is secure, and 3 ppl know the password, i dont think its leaked because they forgot they have forgotten the password already. (you use rcon tools with profiles)
i use ingame rcon...easier for me
because i never took the time to learn how to use codrcontool...
i fucking suck at it lol
just check the normal "leak points":
is the rcon password same as ftp / panel password if yes -> change them
rcon password shorter than 8 characters -> make it longer
do you use alpha and numeric characters? and special characters? no? -> make your password more complicated.
is it guessable? meaning your clan name, your wife's name and so on? yes? -> change it
do you use it on any other website where you don't know how the data is saved (hashed?) if yes -> change it and make it unique..
tip: pwgen -c on linux systems gives you a choice of completely random passwords otherwise google: random password generator

pass was 123fatal1ty321 (changed it of course) which was imo is quite good. and the fts server was totally different.
@proffesor: im using ingame rcon too btw, but didnt wanted to spend time explaining them so just gave the the rcon tools link xD
Hmm.. if you use wwwdownload for the mod, using another web/ file server, make sure you don't upload the server.cfg file along with the mod files, it can be accessed out of game.
I also recommend you upgrade to 204, not sure if it will help, but it may do.
Other than that, change all your passwords, using, like Jazz said, a generator, and make them memorable, but complicated.
the easyiest rcon tool At my opinion is AgRcon...
easy not complicated and dont makes trouble if you have vista or 7...
