Thread: Counter strike

Hi guys,

i am getting a little bored of cod4 after 2 years and a bit so i feel i need to get a new fps game. I definetly want a fps game. I cant get something like mw2 because my pc is so crap it can barely run cod4. i hear people say counter strike is really good and wondering which is better 1.6 or source. anyone whos played both can you tell whats the difference and which 1 is better? If you think they are both shit then can you pls reccomend another game

1.6 has more players in it, source is better in graphics. your call

played COD2 but only singleplayer. and yes, for me every other shooter is better then Counter-Strike. hate that game. boring as hell...at least it's free

if u didn't play cs, don't start now. Believe me, u won't have positive score. Never ever. those players are just fanboys , staying like 10 years in this game, no chance to beat them . I am telling this about almost every player of this game. :/ but it's fun on lan , playing with friends in school

cod2 ? very good multi . not cod4, but still , worth buying imo

To be honest I quite like CSS, not very good at it, but its a nice change from cod every so often.

I also like cod2, play it when I'm bored with cod4, its, a little different, but nice.

Counter Strike 1.6 were where u looking? all i did was search "counter strike" on isohunt.com and it was the first result.
