I would like to announce the FpsResources Server Admin Area. It is still in Alpha development and has got quite a lot to go before a public release however I do expect the Closed Beta to start within a month. Limmited support will be offerent on all releases upon till the first Stable release where full support will be available to all registered users.
The area will include the following features:
- Ban Appeals
- Admin Applications
- Server Messages
- Admin Lists
- User Accounts
- Admin Profiles
- A Watch List
A full list and explanation of each feature will be made later on, closer to the release, as well as a full Wiki explaining every part of the application. Features will be added as they are requested and suggested.
The application will be web based and will require Apache, PHP 5 and MySql. It will be open source and released under the GNU General Public License.
The idea of this is to make the server admins life easier and fair for all players. Two basic forms, that can be included into a php file are included, an Admin Application which will allow a user to Apply to become an admin, and a Ban Appeal form that will give the user a chance to argue their ban. In the future these forms will be editable.
The FpsResources site will be up shortly with more information and a way to apply to become part of the Closed Beta. You can also follow us on Twitter to keep updated.
