vista has a built in anti-virus type protocol that doesn't allow you to do certain things (install programs [when istallign programs it will ask whether or not to allow it or u can right click and hit run as administrator], delete certain files, overwrite certain files, etc..) without enabling administrator before doing it, on any account. unlike xp which allowed any admin account to modify anything without any extra security making it easier for malicious software to take control and infect your computer.

Disable UAC (If you hate the confirmation boxes every time you touch anything): Disable User Account Control in Windows Vista (Go for method 4, you'll find it easier)

Enable computer administrator (if it won't let you do something):
1. Run cmd prompt as admin
2. Enter this: net user administrator /active:yes
3. A new account will appear labelled Administrator on your logon screen.

And ive decided im sticking with my own config. ill just make a few changes.

OK I have used a lot of pro configs and I have come to a conclusion

MINE mine pwns yitch3 and paradoxs and razs and stevy imo
If you got a shite pc but still want to own use mine

I Love my config, it was the pencil one when he submitted it, but i've changed quite a lot, removed things and added things and in my opinion, for my system I have the right amount of graphics and tweaks for good performance and still visually pleasing.

I get on average 210FPS and 250 on scenes with low effects.
