Thread: Mw2 rocks ?

The game was great for the first week I played multiplayer.

After that, the game sucked and still sucks. I regret asking for it as a birthday present when I could've had L4D2 or Aion. CoD4 still stands as the second best game of all-time just after Galaga.

Great job IW, you produced the worst game of the century.

And to think I actually thought it'd be good...

Nicly said. It was good for the first week, Now I can't stand it.

Singleplayer and Spec ops, I can see myself playing them with mates for a good few months more, But online multiplayer.. Can't stand it.

noobs? they are everywhere, in every game.. no dedis? ffs.. That is not the problem for me (only that I can't choose the map I want to play on) , that game won't be competitive. that's for sure
and it won't beat cod4, but hey! It's still very Very good multi. all those perks and killstrikes are just awesome.
imo. Dedis are only problem in pc multi, and only becouse they are making this game Non competitive

when you play mp on a console you know what your going to get on a pc though most people expect a lot more. just ask jibble, he said it was a great mp for about 3 days... then just annoying. definitely not worth 60$

I don't see how you like it on console either. They're both equally as shitty.

They promised a console option on PC where you could tweak certain options, the control button is there, but it doesn't work at all! So FOV is set to like 40 instead of 80, which sucks.

On top of that, there is no leaning, which defeats the entire purpose of a realistic FPS.

And it's not about noobs and hackers, we're talking about strictly gameplay. They overdid the perks, callsigns, and emblems. It's too much to work for in my opinion and it takes a pretty damn long time to get to 10th prestige. I'm not a huge fan of leveling up, but I did it in CoD4, but prestiges? Come on...

They should've just made it sequel to CoD4 in the sense that it would be better graphics, but same gameplay and better maps.

CoD4 is still best.

And just wait for BFBC2...

How ever, I still like the game. It isn't a clan game for e.g. clanwars. You can just modify too much, like e.g. your killstreak extras. Butr the Killstreakextras are cool Like AC130, Chopper gunner and many more.

The issue with private hosts sucks. I often failed to connect to ANY server. And when the host doesnt want anymore, he simple can close the server. Pffffhh.
Using COD MW2 in steam is IW's biggest fail in my opinion. VAC is shitty ( I saw a aimbotter the second day I got the game lol) and once you got banned, simple buy the game new and you can play again. Unlike PB.

Singleplayer is just great. The atmosphere is MUCH better than in COD4, it is more realistic. You often play between "normal" houses like we all live in. Sometimes it is pretty unfair because you just don't see the enemies. Everything is blowing up and you just like "omg?", then u die by a exploding barrel you didnt see before xD.

Since MP is more important for most players, I would say that COD4 is better.

If you like SP with tactics and a bombastic (!!!) atmosphere, buy COD MW2.
