IW wants attention. They're not dumbasses. They know people want dedicated servers. They've seen the long-ass thread about the same subject over and over and over again. As long as people keep slamming their forums, nothing going to happen. What people don't get is IW is a company that makes MONEY. Suspense is what drives their customers to keep coming back. That's why they set the release date for MW2 back in February. If they didn't do that, who the fuck would talk about it and repeatedly say how great it is? It's a marketing scheme. Chill out, relax, things will happen.

So basically what your saying is...

• They don't care about the players, their (former) fans and loyal customers from Cod4.
• Their sell-outs who only care of themselfs.
• They set the release date early, got millions of pre-orders, then drop a bomb on us all.

i meen yeh regardless of all the boycotting and knock back im still gonna play it even tho matchmaking is laggy i can get used it and yeh ill still buy it and its still gonna be great ill just have to get used to matchmaking again but then again ive heard they are going to get dedi servers in 1st patch so thts ok

They're not letting down fans and loyal customers of CoD4 in any way, shape, or form. If they were, do you really think they'd take the time and effort to produce a highly anticipated game like this? Definitely not.

They're producing a game for everyone. They don't make a game for 500k people. They make a game targeted at EVERYONE who will buy it. As you can see, not every single person in the world hates the fact that there aren't dedicated servers in the release candidate.

Seriously, is it that important that MW2 is shipped to you with dedicated servers? Are you guys that impatient that you can't wait it out another month or two for the first patch? Come on guys, get real.

I'm not all for non-dedicated servers, but I actually don't mind waiting for it. ESPECIALLY for a game like this. No need to down the next game of the year.

Imo they are letting their loyal fans from Cod4, in fact i think they are spitting at them! It looks to me like all the effort, and anticipation has been met with dissapointment in the end, as sad as it is to say.

Hmmmm, 500,000 ppl vs maybe a few thousand that like matchmaking? Its a piss take that Iw would let so many of their fans down to satisfy a few thousand ppl and console arse-rapers.

Yes, yes it is important that it is shipped to me with dedi servers, coz i aint fucking buying it till it gives me what i want! (And the 500,000 dedi fans what they want too)! Why should we wait? We pre-ordered the game same as everyone else, we THOUGHT we would get dedi servers and a kick ass mp, until they shove shit in our face and drop a bomb shell.

Oh and thats news to me...Since when has it been confirmed that we will get dedi servers in the first patch? Sounds like chinese whispers to me, 1 thing turned into another into this... One thing is for certain, i aint buying the game till this "patch" comes out WITH dedi's in it!

Anyway, u enjoy Mw2 Jibble, enjoy the sp story...Then enjoy whats left of mp (if u can even call it that with matchmaking servers pfffff). We/I will wait for dedi's to be 'rightfully' put in mp!

Matchmaking is when an automated system connects you to other players around the globe that are at or around the same level.

And Agent, if you don't think IW will implement dedicated servers in the first patch or one of the first ones, why do you think people are raging on the IW forums? For no reason at all? I think IW got the point already. Those forum posts certainly don't go unread.

if they have got it, they would have said it ASAP, before more people canceled they're pre-orders. so they didn't, or for some strange ass reason, don't care. IW are the Producers, they have to do what the Publisher, in this case Activision, tells them to do.

fuck it im still buying it.... i played cod 4 on PS3 .. and the way the matches get made.. sucks.... but to hell with it. bet the 1-3 week all their damn servers will b down/overflooded... so that they have no choice BUT to put out the dedis ... well im hoping so anyways.... i was in their forum and read a hugeeee post form one guy that has been there since day one of cod 1 .... he knows fourzeroone wutever that dudes name is.. and he wrote him a niceee ass long letter...

just sad for the modding community and all the mappers..... they put in soo much work.. IW actually took sum of their ideas and put them out into their patches... now that part of the modding and mapping comm. will die... sad sad sad....


but u guys IW is ACTIVISIONS lapdog.. they are the publishers!!! so anything that ACT. tells em to do , they have to ... and since WOW is such a cash cow.. they obviously want to make DLC and other shit into $$$$$$
