    Laptop Hard Drive

My laptop hard drive has recently started causing me problems, a little while ago, it was playing up, not sure why, but it might have been hit or something whilst the disk was spinning, as it travels a lot.

Fully formatting the disk fixed it though, and it ran at full speed. Anyway, now I'm getting slow boot ups and Windows and Linux are complaining of disk errors, so I am guessing the problem has come back. And I have also noticed the hard drive is getting very HOT, which is new.

So, I am looking for a good quality replacement 2.5inch hard drive. Only need around 250GB as most stuff is stored online. Just some movies, music and photos. I don't want something too expensive, but I want good quality, decent read speed and cache.

No budget really, as long as it is good quality for the money, but not too much ofc.

Oh, and this will mean less of me here and less of me on xfire, until I get another.

Need internal, it has to run the operating systems as well and I don't like the idea of running an operating system off an external. And I use it on my lap, on the train, etc, quite a lot.

No moving parts, so if you drop or knock them, no hole in a disk.
Less power required as no disk to spin, etc..
Less heat output, as they do not move.
    They make no noise.
    They're faster
