Go into BIOS and find the memory and put up the clock speed.

... "wow my computer is sooo much faster now). wait a second... what's that burning smell... o noes, my ram, it's on fiire..." and then u get a fucked up pc don't play around in the bios unless u know what ur doing.

you can overclock your PC (GPU, CPU, RAMS) without any mods, but the difference it's not noticeable. if you really want to see the overclock workin', you have to invest in some serious cooling hardware, because even a minor overclock will increase the temp of that specific component. and it's not just "oh let's put this from 2.4 to 3.0ghz, I got water cooling and everything will work fine". it doesn't work that way. you have to take it slowly and by steps, raising the frequency a little bit (I'm talking about the CPU as a example), 50hz at a time. run a 3DMark to see if it's all stable and nothing crashes, when you reach that point when it crashes you have to know how much to raise the voltages...etc etc etc. it's pretty fun after you get into it
