Thread: Monitor Problems

Hey guys I might not be online for a little while woke up this morning tryed turning my PC on and the monitor wouldn't detect so im thinking graphics card maybe. So im running of the on board Graphics Card which is a shitty Nvdia 6150SE And it wont play any of my games

So at the moment im abit boned.
So I might not be on for a while.

its still hanging in there lol my card wernt in properly but i got another one i put in its a GeForce 7500LE and my old one was a Gigabyte GeForce 6600GT but i dont no which ones better but now im gonna update my M-Board and the 7500LE

I had the same prob. The first time one of my two screens had a lot of pixels broken. It seemed that way, but the prob was that i fried my graphic card. So i placed a new one a Geforce 8600 GT. the second time i didn't got anything on my screen. My monitor said "No input" or something and turned everytime to stand-by. This time the prob was my plug that was broken. It was not really the plug but that thing that change your plug from a small connector to a large connector. Don't know how those things are named. I changed that piece and all was solved. Now i had to change my monitor again because it didn't start up. It made some knocking sound. So now i have a 23" widescreen monitor and a 22" widescreen monitor. For running those two monitors i placed aswel a new graphic card. A Geforce 9600. My ingame visibility improved enormous.

ye everything is ok now i asked ma bro and he goes its too hot [my G-Card] so i took the side of and now have a fan running next to it
my cpu fan was well hot i put my fingers on it and i burnt them thts bad but everything seems ok now

maybe tis could be the thread where poeple post there monitor pc g-card probs

is your PC overclocked? Cause my brother needed to place an extra ven to. But his PC is serious overclocked.
Mine not i don't like it. Gives you only more probs afterwards.

venomouse taking the side off is only a temporary fix, eventually it'll get really dusty and then u'll have some real problems. my advice would be to open it up take it out side and clean it out with a can of compressed air and a vacuum cleaner. you can also try upgrading your heatsink or installing some more fans.

What does the monitor do/say when you turn it on with the GPU plugged in?


If it says something like Out of range then yeah the GPU has had enough.

Also whats with the 6/7 series? Haha little bit outdated.

my bro found out what was rong yeh it was hot but it was a loose wire in it and he fixed it and i had no probs so far

yay, but if u have to money u might want to consider an upgrade anyway. maybe even a brand new pc. i'm sure between every1 on the site we could compile a nice shopping list for u.
