Thread: Multiplayer Reveal

So, on September the 1st the Black Ops crew revealed a lot more information on the Multiplayer. Here are some of the results.

• There is an improved server browser
• There will be a Spectator mode
• There are no public server files
• Will have "/record" and the theater mode
• Will be a steam exclusive game using VAC
• Unranked servers will be fully customisable! Ranked I think you can customise the map/gametypes!
• Let's do this! First off dedis will be rented from GameServers only! Unranked and ranked! Fully customisable!

With no server files, we will have to pay extra to get hold of a server. I doubt we will be getting one. Unless we actually start getting donations.

Punkbuster => VAC => VAC ... seems like they didnt learn anything. Not even dling it I think.

VAC is not Punkbuster or w/e cabry said lol

VAC is a Valve production while Punkbuster is owned by evenbalance Inc.
Anyways I think VAC > PB allthoug i hate the fact that u need steam, prefer standalone games.

Java, pretty sure those were arrows cab was writing cod4 (pb) => waw (pb) => mw2 (vac) => black ops (vac). The two good games, are both using pb and the one to use vac was hated by most gamers, including myself.

Blunks got it right
Although punkbuster has a few disadvantages (concerning the kicks for nothing etc) I think it's way better than vac. And dont pay attention to my grammar/mistakes, I'm tired as hell and go to bed now.
